Thanks. I thought it might need some kind of scanner but that seemed like a lot of duplicative effort to me. Our old scanner had specific things that it would recognize and we don't use it anymore. Most companies I work with, including the ones that have nothing to do with notary work, accept pdf's created by using my camera. I have had only one signing service refuse those pictures. In case of such denial, I would much rather use NR's faxing system if it were cost effective. I doubt that anyone could tell that the pictures were taken. There sure is a lot of rigamarole to this business.
