Tell them you will report them to the Secretary of State since you have evidence they booked you for the 6th and the documents are dated the 7th. If you followed the law, then they must be asking you to do something illegal and the Secretary of State is highly interested in these matters.
TTell them if they pay you according to the original terms you would be inclined to drop the matter. Tell them by phone, not email.
