| I am on the approved list of all the major title companies. First Am, Chicago/ Fidelity, Old Republic, North American, etc. Not ONE of these national title companies has ever asked me for the FULL background check in all the years I have been approved. I refuse to give it to a SS that requests it for their "client". It hasn't been requested too many times by a ss but I have refused every time. I have asked these ss why they would need it when the major title companies that write a huge percentage of the business out there don't, a clear response has never been given. The answer has always been that their "client" requires it. What client? I would love to know. |
