Networking was the only way I was able to build my business to the level it is. 13 years in and most of my business is direct signings. I don't work evenings too much anymore and am able to do less signings because my average per signing is much higher than when I used to work mostly with ss's. But networking was key. I encourage all notaries to network in their geographic area not only to meet once a quarter and bounce ideas off of them but to market as a team/ network to direct clients. It is amazing how much ground you can cover when you aren't the only sheriff in town. |
