That's for webcam notarizations. The e-notarization just requires us to have an electronic "seal" [on a flash drive, I believe] to notarize electronic documents (signed with something like DigiSign), but still requiring personal appearance. As indicated above, CA is one of the states where webcam notarizing is illegal, but e-notarizatin has been allowed for several years now.
