Guess who they're coming after? Yep, you guessed correctly.....the NOTARY!!! I was a defendant in a lawsuit where the signer was elderly, the adult siblings were at war, and the item in question was real property. I was charged with fraud, negligence, accepting a forged signature, and elder abuse. Been there, done that! Case against me was dismissed WITH prejudice. |
