Have to agree with you. Very good analysis. Further, it won't be cheap to become an e-Notary. AR does have eNotaries, but not 'remote'. The cost of the technology isn't cheap--particularly with practically zero demand in GNW. Am sure it will be a growth industry in VA. IMHO, this whole concept is being driven by people who have no clue or just wish to ignore the reality of why notaries were created. Nor do I think remote e-Notarization will be less expensive...the technology, security, retention doesn't come cheap. I think it's coming...and very stupid. Can't wait for the first lawsuit!!
