I may be in the minority, but I prefer to receive text/email as opposed to them calling me to offer $60 so I can say no and they call me back over and over. I work full time so I don't have time to take multiple calls during the day that are non productive to me.
More power to the notaries in my area taking $60 closings. The income I get from closings is extra money for me, but I don't take less than $XXX. I cannot imagine anyone in my area taking lowball closings and making much of a profit but yet they do it. My friend (also works full time) just called me and stated XYZ called her and begged her to take a $80 closing at 8:00 pm, but then found out package was over 200 pages! I told her to call back and cancel especially since it was a less than stellar area. This company does not use SD, but crazy nonetheless. |
