And I always get my travel fee paid up front (I don't charge for the actual notarization, as its only a dollar in IL) and before I go out to do GNW. This ensures that I get paid, whether or not the actual notarization happens or not. And I do not provide refunds.

I think you might want to follow my lead so you can ensure getting paid, even if its a client/company that hires you.
