<<Seems to be more companies are paying slower. Is it that there is a glut of notaries and they don't care if one drops them, or they just don't care or are they are having cash flow problems?>>
Probably a combination of both. I think what we all need to do is to concentrate on the companies that DO meet a certain fee level and pay within a reasonable period of time (30 days or less). It takes some working with various companies to sort out the good guys from the bad guys, but after a while, you get a good feel for which companies are compatible with your business plan. Ultimately, you'll probably get the bulk of your work from just a few good companies. Like others have said here, don't think that known deadbeat companies will treat you any better than they've treated notaries before you. You're just a commodity to them to be used up and discarded when you start asking to be paid for your work. |
