Gathering argument points to counter lobbying
Posted by  VT_Syrup of VT on 7/17/17 12:10pm Msg #578669
We all know which organization sometimes lobbies state legislatures to try to make bonds, training, and exams mandatory so they can sell them. I just started a folder of stuff I might want to show to my legislators to show this organization isn't on the side of notaries, nor on the side of sound notarial laws.

The first thing I added was a web page they just plugged by email, encouraging notaries to become an immigration forms specialist. I think this is not a good way to help immigrants; they should be going to people who know what their doing rather than people who just know just enough to be dangerous.
