If more notaries would do this - and just put their foot down and refuse to work for nonpayers or for peanuts - more nonpayers and lowball companies would be shutting their doors due to their inability to fulfill orders and maintain their agreements with the title companies, letting the cream rise to the top. But as long as the companies are allowed to cruise along with the attitude of "oh well, no big deal, we'll just call the next notary on the list" then nothing is EVER going to change. |
