| I agree with Janet in that it is so much easier after the fact to know how to handle something. Being caught off guard makes it hard. You handled it very well. One thing that I have found over the years with strangers and with friends is this one question: "Would you like to talk about it?" The ones that want to will and the ones that don't, will tell you so. This way, you aren't prying but are just offering to be of support. |
