| I had the old Hughes.net for years, where you had a daily allowance and earned 'tokens' hardly ever went over. Then I switched to the Gen4 and it was faster (somewhat) BUT suddenly I kept going over all the time, I didn't change my internet habits at all, it was them. So fortunately DSL became available (after 16 years of waiting) so I told Hughesnet to take a hike. If you are on the old plan and its working I would NOT go to the Gen anything, because they lie thru their teeth, google all the unhappy people on the internet. |
