...And you also have to take into consideration of the different time zones and when to call people. Personally, I like it lighter in the AM. When kids have to go sit at the bus stop at 6:30AM, walking or riding their bikes and don't get light until 8:00AM then, I don't think it is too safe. Just me, but it never bothered me getting dark a bit early in the evening, and feels like winter time then with the holidays. In FL it's still about 6:30 PM getting dark in the winter because we are so far south compared to northern states where some get dark about 4:30. In July it's about 9:00 getting dark...It's personal preference, but I like it as is.
