Yep Have to notarize to the ID. Does not matter what the docs say. If she signs Jane Doe and the ID say Jane Smith then her name is Jane Smith in CA. Use the name on the ID. Call title and let them know your law, don't let them try and talk you into anything else. No "but we have notaries do it all the time", " the property is in Fl."... whatever
