Not sure I would trust a free Windows 10 at this point, probably embedded with a lot of stuff. Nothing is free anymore if you missed that window to change it. If you are in need of a new laptop soon, it will have it in there when you buy it. I wouldn't pay for it for in older computer, not worth it, and just keep going until you do have to buy a new one. Yes, you will have to update your Brother Drivers when you switch over. I was using Vista and moved to 10. Brother had to install Windows 8 updates before the 10's could go in. They did it on their end and just took over the printer, which made it easy. Now if your Brother is all ready for Windows 10 and your not, it maybe something to look into changing over to or just buying a new laptop for a few hundred bucks. Good luck! |
