Oh, good gosh...all of this is nothing more than a way to weed out the cheap, inexpensive, know-
nothing notaries in favor of the cheap, inexpensive know-something notaries.
Those notaries who know what they're doing...are being priced out of the market by those notaries
who don't...with the exception of a few of the "educated" notaries who will work for a dime-on-the-
dollar.
It's the bottom line for these companies, folks. and they don't give a rip whether you and I can
make a buck at this or not.
It's really sad that experience and going the extra mile will not only get you thrown under the bus,
but also run over the bus. In any case...the bus escapes unscathed.
It's not fair...but that's the way it is.
Eventually, maybe enough notaries will drop out of the biz so that title companies and signing
companies will be hard pressed to find a notary. But that's doubtful when certain organizations are
cranking out notaries like crazy with promises of huge bucks.
And, this is the latest attempt to run the notary crop thru a sieve to separate those who know
nothing and work cheap from those who know something and work cheap...leaving those who
know the ropes and charge accordingly, high and dry.
Now, now.....bitterness will get you nowhere.
As Henry Ford once said...."Don't find fault...find a remedy."
