EIN isn't sufficient to run a BGC on the person.

To OP - I would not give this to them - if you have a current BGC you provided that should be sufficient. And if you have an EIN already I definitely would not give them my SS # - on the flip side, if you don't have an EIN, I'd get one immediately (go online to irs.gov and it takes 5 minutes to get it) - give them a W9 with the EIN and the MUST accept that.
