Too close to bedtime for me to look it up now, but I only recall CA law saying that the stamp much be 'photographically reproducible', not that it needs to be any specific color. (But you can look it up just as easily as I can... Wink)

However, there MIGHT be another issue that you need to worry about even more - unless what I'm thinking of only applies to self-inking stamps, and yours isn't one. Different stamps use different types of ink and one type of ink may not be compatible with a stamp that's designed for a different ink. If you ordered your stamp(s) here, you might try emailing the owners of this site to get their recommendations.
