1. Go to irs.gov and get yourself an EIN - never ever give out your personal social security number. Then get your commission, a stamp and journal (if required in your state) and a set of wheels (vehicle) and you're mobile.

Then find a local SCORE organization to help you through the process. They'll help you decide how to best set yourself up

Or read here...for quite a while back. Just keep in mind we not attorneys here nor are we business management specialists; some of the members are tax experts but anything here is not to be construed as legal advice.

Also, do you honestly think someone in your area that's in this business is going to tell you how to set up to be their competition. I'm afraid you're going to find you're on your own with this part. And this is something you should have thought about at the outset.
