Re: Notary S/A in banks??

Exactly right on...not to mention, bank employees are seeing fewer perks to being an in-house notary. Banks are going to inside ATMs with a banking supervisor to assist with any wiring requirements, etc. Lowering the overhead (human capital), and focusing on wealth management. When I was settling my mother's estate, Chase wanted nothing to do with notarizing any affidavits for us, only the medallion stamp for her asset accounts.
