I totally agree. This has happened 3x this month alone. The companies are trying to not pay the notaries the extra fee for faxbacks -- Unacceptable!! I was confirmed for a loan signing and after I completed the signing, they informed they were not going to pay me since I was not certified. That was never mentioned at the time of the call and their confirmation does NOT mention it either. Have called the mortgage company and title company and I have no recourse. Don't do business with BBS notary company. This was "bait and switch"!!!
