That's just like the mantra "our fee for that area is..."

Well sorry - but we're talking about xx miles and xx in travel and table time - so MY fee for this assignment is $xxx.

I don't know who sets the fees for "that area" - when I asked it usually came out "well, that's what other notaries take" - well, shame on them.
