So there is a notary here in Wilmington who does "signings" for several local mobile home dealers. What happens is that docs are signed and she drops in later to notarize them. The dealership gets a copy of the buyers IDs and that is how she identifies them even though the signers have NOT appeared before her as the documents indicate they are supposed to. One of the dealerships raved when they used me several times because I was professionally dressed, had signers sign my journal etc etc They complained about her dress and that she was always late really late. So I was their exclusive notary until I was out for eye surgery and then they brought her back. Sure it is alot simpler with her but .......

Another notary mentioned that someone she did a car title for mentioned that they typically use this notary above but she was not available. He revealed that "the above notary will date and sign open titles".
