Everyone is correct. The main thing to be aware of is the 2 different types of notary "certification" form and notary acts being talked about in this thread. Both certification are completely different.

(1) Power of Attorney Copy of Certification & (2) Copy Certification by Document Custodian.

I would suggest ask the hiring party since we can not make that decision for them and could/would be viewed as UPL. Yes, California notaries can Certify POA copy certificates according to our handbook.

I always keep a copy of both types of CA compliant forms in my notary bag.
