I had a nightmare signing last night. Purchase. It's a bank owned home, roof is leaking, borrower wants to get in and make repairs.
His wife had a hair appointment, and that was WAAAAY more important than being on time for our signing meeting.
Hubby asks if I can sign him and then drive to the hair salon and sign her. NOPE! We'll drive to salon, you need to sign together. Three little ones. The middle child needed to potty. She didn't make it. She wailed because she was all wet (it's cold here, I felt her pain, been there, done that.)
We signed in the waiting area, first hubby, then wife after she had all her foils in. I was fuming. I blew off some steam with the SS owner who made $200 on the signing and agreed to part with $25 more for my agony.
Sometimes this business is pretty painful. The kids were adorable. I'm happy they will have a wonderful new home. |
