I think the only thing this proves is that members of the Trump transition team were talking to foreign officials. I believe that by law, information on American citizens cannot be intentionally collected unless the govt. can convince a FISA court that they are acting as foreign agents.
The moral of the story is if you don't want to be taped, don't talk to foreign officials unless someone knows you are doing it and why, and don't then deny it when you are caught. The administration has been saying for months that no one spoke to foreign officials - now we know they did. |
