If you watched the footage today where he was asked whether he authorized the use of the MOAB, you saw that he danced around the answer - what he said was that he gave his military the authority, not that he himself authorized it. The decision to use that bomb was probably made by the Secretary of Defense. Trump will take the credit - he always does - but he won't accept the responsibility.
This is similar to what happened during the Syria strike - as he told Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business News the other day, he was having dessert with Chinese President Xi (an absolutely wonderful piece of chocolate cake as he described it, never being one to miss an opportunity to plug one of his properties) when the missiles was launched. H said he told Xi that the missiles were on their way to Iraq (that's in the interview transcript), and Maria had to correct him. He could remember the details of the chocolate cake, but not which country he was attacking.
Speaking of Mar-a-Lago, the Miami Herald reported that the health department, during a routine inspection of its kitchens, cited them for a number of serious violations, including:
- Meat stored at too high a temperature
- Fish improperly stored
- Lack of hot water in some of the kitchen sinks
- Employees not wearing hair nets while preparing food
But I hear the chocolate cake is very good....
