About that fake news...
Posted by MikeC/TX of TX on 8/24/17 5:21pm Msg #70784
Conservative radio host and Trump supporter Laura Ingraham posted a crowd photo on her website, labeling it as "5 miles of Trump supporters waiting to greet POTUS in Phoenix."

Which would have been impressive, except for the fact that the picture was taken in Cleveland, and the crowd was at the Cavs' NBA championship parade. Oops.

The article goes on to note that the photo with that description was being purposely dangled among conservatives by a sports writer who has fooled other conservatives such as Ann Coulter with it, and the fish were biting. This is why real journalists always try to confirm their sources before publishing, while the fake wannabes just grab at anything that fits their agenda and run with it. Can real journalists be fooled at times? Yes, but not this easily. An online image search would have been all that was required to verify.
