Except for the fact that he was all over the map - started off by saying that the US didn't want to impose itself on other countries, then going on to talk about how we might do something in Venezuela, Iran, Syria, North Korea... in other words, we'll leave you alone unless you're doing something we don't like.
And referring to Kim Jung Un as "Rocket Man" was just stupid and not helpful at all. Anyone who's familiar with the song he stole the phrase from knows that "Rocket Man" was a sympathetic character, not someone to be mocked.
If you think that was a great "speach", you're just drinking the Trump Kool-Aid. The speech was written by Stephen Miller - the same idiot who dismissed the poem on the base of the Statue of Liberty as insignificant because it was "added later" - spewing the same alt-right nationalist hatred he has been spewing since the inauguration. He needs to go if there's to be any hope of Trump turning this thing around. |
