You keep ignoring the fact that there was no final decision

There was no decision on the merits. The 7-2 decision simply lifted the temporary restraining order until the lower appeals courts settle the cases against the ban. If those courts find that the ban is unconstitutional, the ban will be blocked again and the question will probably go back to SCOTUS for a final decision sometime next year.
Never celebrate or claim the victory until it's actually won. Trump did that the first time the House passed a repeal of Obamacare as if he had actually accomplished something, and then looked foolish when the bill couldn't get through the Senate - twice. Sort of like this guy...
