"Does that mean that all the lawyers he has had personally, and as the office holder of the President of the U.S. have all been actors?"
Not actors, but not good lawyers. Trump cannot attract REALLY good lawyers for two documented primary reasons that have nothing to do with his politics (or lack thereof):
1) He doesn't listen to his lawyers, perhaps because he thinks he knows more than they do. They advise, he ignores. Which is every client's prerogative, but no lawyer wants to represent a client who won't listen to their legal advice.
2) He has a history of not paying his bills. This dates back to his days as a "real estate magnate" where he was known to stiff contractors for work they performed in good faith simply because the work was "not up to his expectations". Do some research on his escapades in Atlantic City where he managed to bankrupt FOUR casinos (who else can do that??) and drive more than a few small companies out of business in the process. Lawyers expect to get paid for their time and effort, and Trump has established a reputation as a high-end deadbeat. |
