IMO it is way past time to do away with political parties.
Politicians do not vote in the best interest of the country, nor what the PEOPLE want.
Everything is driven by the goal of electing the people in their party.
The "parties" make the decisions, not the people.
Our founding fathers are spinning in their graves and would be ashamed of the state of our government today.
