Got one for Christmas, I cook all our steaks, chops and did a brisket yesterday for 30 hours, finished with two hours in the oven. It was wonderful, not as great has the 10 hours on the smoker but nice on a 30 degree day. I did make chicken salad using it but didn't like the texture of the chicken straight out of it, probably should have pan seared them afterward. Eggs are a huge learning curve, I think I'll stick with pan poaching. It's fun to use too. Got mine at target on sale. |
