Here's another article I read (or am reading... haven't finished it yet). I think it said that some of these characteristics may make creation of a virus more challenging. At least they have better info on what they're dealing with. Probably lots more we still have to learn, a was the case with fighting The AIDS virus for which there is still no vaccine.
