I hope your friend's granddaughter continues to improve. Probably very fortunate to have a nurse as her mom!
Thanks for posting this. It's a good reminder for at least some of us to continue to remain cautious. Earlier today, I turned down a GNW appointment for what was probably a profitable trust execution at a skilled nursing facility less than a mile from me, but your post reaffirms that I made the right decision. It's a place where I've done quite a bit of business in the past, so it was tough to say no. For the foreseeable future, though, I'm not accepting anything in those types of facilities, which we know are the highest risk locations.
I'm finding it a bit ironic that while our county's rates of exposure appear to be rising, things are starting to open up more broadly. Some of that makes sense with proper precautions in place, but the rate of testing is still extremely low, so I don't believe anyone really has a clear idea of the real picture. (I think it's still less than 5% tested here, countywide.)
So your reminder to continue to mitigate is well taken! If people keep up the mitigation, we may not have to resort to drastic measures again. (I don't really get what the big deal is about wearing a mask...)
