My husband signed up with Spectrum for this service. Spectrum provides it free. It's called nomorobo.com. Anyway, it's an outside third party vendor that screens for telemarketing calls. So, my phone rings once and if it's a telemarketing call it intercepts and stops the call. He put it on the day before the election last fall. So, it was SO nice....did not get all those political vote for me calls. We're probably the only people still around with a land line.....
