| PLEASE HELP I have a question kind of related When filling out the US patriots Act - I was under the understanding you are supposed to get a copy of their ID and Passport or whatever they use for their 2nd ID -- I've been doing this for years NEVER had an issue till recently. I had a customer use his MILITARY ID for 2nd ID and then would not let me photo copy it (I always use my phone) then he showed me on his phone this ….photocopies of military IDs in violation of 18 U.S.C. §701*…. I was NEVER aware of this LAW. Was anyone else??? and what are we suppose to do? In these case I just wrote down his info and prayed they would except it without photos. Thank you |
