I posted about a similar email recently. Seems they're getting better and better at these things, so we need to be hyper-careful about any attachment that gets sent to us prior to a confirmed signing. Also, unless the signing is with a company (and person) I'm familiar with, I will no longer accept initial confirmation details in an attachment. They can stick at least the initial contact info into an email!
I do have a very few signing services I still work for occasionally who routinely send confirmation details in an attachment, but those also only follow a previous conversation via voice or text, and as I said, only from people I know and have worked with regularly in the past. |
