On streamlining your close....
Posted by Anthony Bessey of ME on 10/26/19 8:44pm Msg #611568
I just responded to an older post with regard to improving your closing speed. Let me ask this question. What documents do you have a difficult time explaining? When I started out it was both the 1003 (loan app) and the 4506-T. Before I give me spiel on these, i would enjoy hearing how others explain them. As I stated in the other post I handle most purchases with all parties present in 35 minutes. I promise a fast and informative 25 minute signing and then they exchange the keys while I prep the copies and disburse funds. I have done so many closings that all me explanations are memorized and I speak faster than I would in normal conversation.

I believe the forum on this site is the greatest asset notaries public in the US have available to them. Let’s use this site to discuss best practices as notary practitioners. I look forward to hearing your description of the two documents listed above.
