| Every day I feel less and less inclined to help someone new. The attitude and lack of gratitude just floors me. In any business that I've ever been a part of, I've always looked at those with more knowledge and experience and tried to glean as much as possible from them. Good advice, bad advice, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear (and it usually wasn't). I showed respect, I asked informed questions (not lazy questions), and I put my nose to the grindstone. I don't see any of that here. I didn't whine, I didn't cry, I didn't argue. All of it was valuable to me. Most of these newbie are as soft as new born chicks. It's pathetic. They have no business acumen what so ever. Some of us have been extremely successful and would love to pass it on. But why bother when you're dealing with people like this every freaking day. Sometimes I feel bad that 99 out of 100 will fail at this, especially in oversaturated places like SoCal. Other times, like now, I just feel like they deserve it. |
