ever since I learned a national title company was printing my name on the DOT, unbeknownst to me, I have been adding my printed name. No probs.
I agree with you its completely "silly" or I say idiotic to expect someone to type their name, especially in this age of no typewriters 
someone has too much time on their hands!!
