Gotcha! Has to be one desperate NSA to go to the length of looking up a closing they were cancelled on after recorded to see who the notary was, or worse, calling a borrower and quizzing them on who did their closing, which is against privacy protocol. Talk about wasted time and jeopardizing your own reputation doing that stupid stuff out of curiosity. Do NSA's really do that?
I agree, I heard them say that time to time, but never took that seriously. I can't imagine ever doing that or wasting one more second on that, or wanting a closing so bad that it would stick with me 6 weeks later to do a search after recorded in that city.
I do however always call the borrower back if I already made contact and tell them what they told me, it was cancelled or pushed back to be rescheduled, but that is only after I had called them initially and I made that introduction. Never once have they told me someone else was coming out. They always thank me for the update and I usually end up seeing them within a few weeks when what ever it was gets straightened out.
