PA has passed the Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts (RULONA), as has my state, VT. This is a RULONA short-form acknowledgement for an acknowledgement by an individual. If the signing and the property are both in CA, I would think the exception in CA law allowing you to use an acknowledgement certificate required in another state would not apply.
What was the person who complained about crossing out PA complaining about? Did they want you to say the acknowledgement occurred in PA, or did they want you to not use that certificate at all and use a CA certificate? |
