very sorry to hear your family took such great protections and yet contracted covid19. Been working every single day of this disease and knock on wood, have not gotten sick..... so far.
What is really interesting to me is that prior to this miserable strain being released upon us, every year our local newspapers and TV would announce the number of people who died that year from Flu! The figures fluctuated between 35,000 to 60,000 - every year for the last twenty years!
I understood the purpose of the ads was to encourage us to get our flu vaccines each year to lower the chance of getting the illness. Yet none of us ever bothered to wear masks, stop mingling or wash our hands, especially after grocery and produce shopping and yet the contraction rate was not alarming to any of us.
So far, as more testing is completed, we discover that many people had covid19 and did not realize it! I sure hope they find out what this thing is. Meanwhile, almost every signer I've worked for here in Lake County no longer wear masks EXCEPT when in grocery stores. Our entire County has had 19 cases - all recovered.
