when this whole mess started I received a contractual agreement from one of the big title companies not sure if it was Fidelity or First American. Anyway, basically, it said if I wanted to continue doing signings as a direct approved vendor, I would conduct signings according to the NNA guidelines. Which basically said, you don't go in the house, signings must be conducted outdoors, masks and gloves are required, and signers must sanitize hands before using your thumbprint pad. And, everyone must sanitize everything down before and after the signing. Anyway, had to electronically sign it to stay approved. Not that I'm going out. Still high risk for COVID19.
I think I would have told him policy is title company mandated, and besides not wanting to compromise my health, I want to get paid. Period.
Sorry you had to deal with such a jerk. This is about science.....not politics.
Keep on signing everyone! (safely!) |
