We have been voting by mail for, I believe this is our 9th year. It is all pretty much second nature to me. We have so many checks and balances in place — emailed when our ballot is mailed; emailed when they receive our ballot, and emailed when our ballot is accepted. We don’t need anything notarized. We do sign envelope and our signature is compared against our sig on file. Follow instructions — color oval completely—if we make a mistake, we put an “X” thru and color new circle. Pay attention to the number of candidates you vote for. Review ballot and make sure you have not skipped anything and then review again. Our ballots have a tear-off thing at top which instruct to remove and not send back with ballot.
