CT requires TWO current forms of ID ...
Posted by BobbiCT of CT on 1/22/20 7:59am Msg #614837
Most CT notaries merely ask to "see a drivers license," because that is what the "experienced" notary taught them ... or all the boss wants them to ask for. I see a lot of check-the-box "personally known" because "the boss knows them."

Worse, for documents like FL where you must print the ID reviewed in the FL notarization block, I see CT notaries printing "a drivers license," which means the CT notary did NOT follow CT notarization law regarding identification requirements.

Two forms of ID has been that way since at least 1970 ... showing my age (nka experience).
