With some reluctance, I accepted an order from Prestige Notaries since I have read some bad reviews, but the fee was good and at local site. The offer was listed as purchase and sale with scanbacks for $150.
Performed the signing Friday with no issues, but the docs were were for only a sale, no purchase.
Today (Monday) I get a email, (no phone call) that my fee is being adjusted to $115 since the offer was wrongly listed by them. No negotiation.
I replied they need to no longer send me offers, since I will not be accepting them from them in the future.
Comments? Has this happened to you before? it certainly never has happened to me.
And yes, I have already gave them a 1 star review in Signing Central here.
